qtPhDs newsletter: Sept 2022

Hello qtPhDs, 

Happy September! We hope that you are having a good transition out of summer and into the crisp days of a Boston fall. 

Now that the summer is over, we will be returning to our regular scheduling of monthly coffees and after-work events. 

For the first event, we will be meeting for coffee on Monday, Sept 26, at 3pm at Area 4!

One that we wanted to highlight is that the Rainbow Compass mentoring program will be returning this year– sign up here by Friday, Sept 23 to be assigned to mentor an LGBTQ+ undergrad or grad student!

*Each month we will be featuring a different pride flag in our logo! Our flag of the month is the Bisexual Pride Flag, designed by Michael Page in 1998. The flag features a fuchsia stripe to represent opposite gender attraction, an indigo stripe to represent same gender attraction and a purple stripe to represent attraction regardless of gender.
