qtPhDs newsletter: Apr 2022

April 1, 2022

Hello all!

We hope you are enjoying this warm start to the Spring season. We had a wonderful time in this month’s coffee hour and are looking forward to the upcoming after-work meetup.

Coffee and After-work Meetups

qtPhDs hosts coffee hours on the 1st Monday of each month and after-work meetups on the 3rd Thursday of every month. We will be hosting April’s after-work meetup next week instead, on Thursday, April 28th at 5 pm, at the Muddy Pub on campus. Please RSVP by 5pm Monday, April 25th!

And our May coffee hour is around the corner: Monday, May 2, from 2-3pm! Weather permitting, we will meet outside– an update regarding the location and RSVP form will be sent that morning! In the meantime, add this event to your calendar here.

*Each month we will be featuring a different pride flag in our logo! Our flag of the month is the Asexual Pride Flag, which was created by AVEN user standup in 2010. The topmost black stripe represents asexuality, the gray stripe represents demi- and gray-sexuality, the white stripe represents allosexual partners and allies, and the purple stripe represents community.
